As the Director of Social Media I oversee a team of 7 - which has grown 75% since I began leading the team. I focus on my teams’ growth, setting aspirational and realistic KPIs, and driving digital initiatives that are firsts for the publication. After three years with Forbes I have increased social audience by 72.6% and engagement by 116.5%.
ALOHA | DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA
I was the first of eight employees hired to launch ALOHA. As a team of one I launched ALOHA’s social presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter. I grew the audience to approximately 300k, collectively and organically, in a year.
DEEP FOCUS | MANAGER OF SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT + CLIENT RELATIONS
The main focus of my role at Deep Focus was to be nimble and able to pivot to take on new clients and change strategy at a moments notice. My primary client was Purina. I created a social ecosystem for cat and dog lovers called Petcentric. While the Facebook page is no longer active you can see some of my creative work and copy here. I managed client calls focused on reporting, content calendars, and campaigns. In addition to managing Purina I also assisted with Nespresso, Absolute, and was one of the first members of Deep Focus’ Moment Studio.
